The main objective of the Moscow meeting of the TCOP thematic group on public sector accounting and reporting was to enhance participants’ understanding of the challenges of implementation of public sector accounting and financial reporting reforms and discuss practical solutions to overcoming those challenges based on the experience of the Russian Federation. The meeting has also served as a forum for participants to share the latest developments related to public sector accounting and financial reporting in their countries and advance the work on the knowledge product on the chart of accounts design.
