HOW DOES IT WORK?
Meetings, video conferences, exchange visits, report sharing, web-based exchanges, and other informal contacts strengthen relations within the community and help officials receive real-time feedback from their peers.
The PEMPAL events are aimed to:
- contribute to the value and development of the network, its growth and sustainability,
- encourage generating and sharing ideas within the COPs and across the PEMPAL community,
- allow countries to learn from each other,
- reinforce the sense of ownership,
- help establish knowledge and information base,
- assist sharing analytical and operational tools and materials, and
- build inter-personal relationships that connect peers and facilitate the exchange of information.
