On October 28-30, 2024, PEMPAL IACOP with the Ministry of Finance of Hungary held Central Harmonization Unit Challenges Working Group Meeting in Budapest, Hungary.
The meeting explored the impact of the new Global Internal Audit Standards, digitalization and sustainability trends on training, certification, and continuous professional development of public sector internal auditors. Participants had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the Hungarian Public Internal Financial Control system and internal audit reforms. The meeting also facilitated discussions on good practice models of public sector internal auditors training and certification.
