Meeting of the BCOP Budget Literacy and Transparency Working Group (BLTWG)

Budget Transparency and Literacy Working Group (BLTWG), operating in BCOP since 2015, will met by videoconference on May 22^nd, 2019.

The main objectives of the meeting were:

1. to follow-up and advance the discussions on public participation in fiscal policy at the national government level, held during the 2019 BCOP plenary meeting in March 2019;
2. to identify lessons learned and their practical utilization in the BLWG work; and
3. to identify objectives of next knowledge product on public participation planned to be developed by the BLTWG.

BLTWG members from 8 BCOP countries attended this meeting.
