Representatives of the Leadership Groups of the Budget, Treasury and Internal Audit Communities of Practice (COPs) met in Bern, Switzerland in July 2011 to identify synergies and to develop strategies to improve the effectiveness of the PEMPAL network.
The meeting was hosted by the Chair of the Steering Committee Ms. Salome Steib, from State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, Switzerland (SECO). A Steering Committee meeting will also be held to gain input of members to the medium term strategy for the PEMPAL network.
