This Audit-in-Practice Working Group (AiP WG) SIT will provide an update on the progress achieved in advancing public sector internal audit in IACOP countries and good practices applied. It will also discuss the current challenges and plans in strengthening the internal audit. Participants will briefly report on country experiences, followed by a commentary and advice from PEMPAL IACOP and the World Bank and external experts. Participants will have an opportunity to share their views, questions, and reflect on others challenges and plans shared. At the end of the event, a virtual social event is planned.
