Videoconference
This virtual workshop of BCOP’s Budget Literacy and Transparency Working Group (BLTWG) was organized on October 19, 2023, with the aim of examining the key elements of the desirable scope of budget documentation that would satisfy the highest international criteria for budget openness. This inter alia included non-financial results, multi-year expenditure, budget impact on different groups, and the impact of policy proposals on expenditure.
BCOP’s Executive Committee and Resource Team organized this workshop in cooperation with the International Budget Partnership, BCOP’s long-standing partnering organization. The topic was selected as one of the top current priorities of the BCOP member countries.
