To prepare for the face-to-face thematic event on Strengthening and Measuring Treasury Performance in Cash Management and Forecasting planned for November 4-6, 2024 in Tirana (Albania), TCOP Thematic Group on Cash Management and Cash Forecasting held a thematic VC on September 12, 2024. 45 TCOP members from 16 PEMPAL countries took part in the videoconference.
During the meeting, Mark Silins, World Bank Resource Team advisor, made a presentation on optimal coverage of the TSA and the approaches to measuring TSA coverage. The VC also provided an opportunity to discuss the draft agenda of the thematic event, assignments for the group discussions, and a Thematic survey on performance measurement in treasury operations in PEMPAL Countries which will be launched in September 2024.
The recent TCOP knowledge product on the optimal TSA coverage served as a background paper for the VC session: "Optimal Coverage of the Treasury Single Account".
