On April 4-6, 2017, PEMPAL Treasury Community of Practice (TCOP) held a Cash Management and Forecasting Thematic Group meeting in Moscow, Russian Federation. The main objective of the meeting was to continue discussions on the cash management and forecasting function with an emphasis on more active cash management including enhancing the relationship with the central bank, and leveraging the use of information technology. The event also served as the forum for updating the thematic group activity plan. The meeting was attended by 43 specialists representing 11 PEMPAL countries (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Macedonia, Montenegro, Russian Federation, and Turkey). The workshop was facilitated by the World Bank team working with TCOP.
