PEMPAL IACOP continues to work on the member countries’ challenges in implementing modern and effective internal audit systems. One of the IACOP working groups is focused on the challenges of Central Harmonization Units (CHU) at different stages of reforms.
The CHU Challenges Working Group (CHU Challenges WG) will meet virtually on October 20, 2020 in a format of SIT, to discuss CHU monitoring function, challenges and opportunities to monitor the internal audit (IA) activity in the public sector.
This will be a closed event of the CHU Challenges WG and therefore, only IACOP members can attend it.
The objectives of this SIT are the following:
- To present the survey results on how the monitoring of IA activity is performed in the public sector of PEMPAL members countries;
- To tackle the link to ISPPIA, QAIP, KPI and CHU monitoring of IA function in the public sector;
- To discuss the challenges and opportunities of CHU in monitoring IA activity in the public sector.
