Annual Meeting of Budget Community of Practice

Budva, Montenegro

The PEM PAL Budget Community of Practice (BCoP) will hold an annual meeting on September 22, 2010 in Budva, Montenegro. This meeting will be held one day prior to the 6^th meeting of the Senior Budget Officials from Central, Eastern and South-Eastern European (CESEE) countries organized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Center of Excellence in Finance (CEF) from September 23 to 24, 2010 in Hotel Splendid in Budva.

The agenda of the PEM PAL Budget Community of Practice meeting will focus on presenting the network, its past achievements and mostly Budget Community of Practice future activities. PEM PAL meeting will be held in English, with interpretation into Russian.

The following are Budva meeting objectives:

To re-introduce the PEM PAL network (establishment, mission, functional guidelines, achievements, donors, benefits for officials, web page ...)
To introduce PEM PAL Budget CoP achievements so far
To share good practices of Budget CoP
To prepare a draft of Budget CoP action plan for 2011-2012
To list common topics for plenary meeting of all three cops in Zagreb, Croatia, January 2011
